Concussion/Mild Traumatic Brain Injury RehabilitationIn Fort Collins, Windsor & surrounding cities
At Colorado in Motion, we have a neurological therapy team of occupational, physical and speech therapists that are trained in concussion management, vision rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, sleep hygiene, and cognitive rehabilitation. Our therapy team has a combined experience of over 25 years in the neurological rehabilitation field helping clients get back to what moves them!
We specialize in helping patients and families overcome difficulties experienced from both recent and a history of concussion(s) that continue to impact your daily life. We can also provide the guidance and support necessary for returning to sport, work, and school post-concussion.
How our Concussion Rehabilitation program works:
We provide one-on-one individualized therapy sessions to each patient at one location. We love to collaborate as a team, and you will be able to develop a relationship in keeping the consistency of your therapy team as we all work together to achieve your goals. We welcome your family members that may help you at home in our sessions as well to maximize your potential in both home and community with your loved ones.
Our therapists use a functional approach that is centered on achieving the goals that you create with your therapy team.
Areas of focus may include:
- Vision Rehabilitation
- Vestibular/Balance Rehabilitation
- Return to Work Tasks
- Returning to Sport Drills
- Functional Cognition
- Pain and Orthopedic Conditions
- Specialized Manual Therapy & Dry Needling
- Developing Sleep Strategies
- Providing Support and Strategies to Address Mental Health Concerns
We have also partnered with the Aasha Brain Clinic. This model offers the potential for collaborative care with our doctor and psychologist if desired.
