Physical Therapist - Board Certified Orthopaedic Physical Therapist & Fellow, American Academy of Orthopaedic Physical TherapistsDr. Gebhardt completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the U.S. Army-Baylor University Graduate Program in 1998. During Dr. Gebhardt’s 7 years of physical therapy practice in the Army he specialized in treating a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries. He has worked extensively with injury prevention initiatives and has been a leader in the development of training programs designed to maximize fitness while preventing injury. Dr. Gebhardt relocated to Colorado in 2004 to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and Fellowship in Manual Therapy at Regis University. His areas of clinical expertise and interest include spine and running and sports rehabilitation where he incorporates his passion for fitness with physical therapy.
Dr. Gebhardt is an avid back country skier and ultramarathoner. He is a Certified Pose Method Running Technique Specialist and Certified VDOT O2 running coach. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). He has also published research in the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy and is currently active in clinical research.

Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand TherapistBrenda graduated from the University of Kansas in 1984 with a degree in Occupational Therapy, she continued her education with achieving a Certification in Hand Therapy in 1991. Brenda has shared her passion and experience in Hand Therapy with fellow colleagues through teaching hand therapy courses and mentoring students completing their internships. Brenda is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists, the American Occupational Therapy Association, and the Colorado Occupational Therapy Association, which she is a past Vice-President. She coordinates a Northern Colorado Hand Journal Club, a quarterly collaboration of hand therapists and hand surgeons who come together to discuss current research and best practices for the upper extremity. In 2002, she opened Harmony Hand & Physical Therapy, eventually merging this thriving clinic with Colorado Physical Therapy Specialists in 2015 resulting in the creation of Colorado In Motion. Brenda keeps moving by enjoying the beautiful hiking trails in Colorado, visiting a beach at every opportunity, spending time with family, and practicing yoga.

Dr. Flynn is widely published with over 85 peer-reviewed manuscripts on musculoskeletal disorders and chronic spinal pain. He has received numerous professional awards. Dr. Flynn is a past President of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He is a Professor of Physical Therapy at South College, TN.
Dr. Flynn is a world-renowned clinician dedicated to providing the highest quality care possible at Colorado In Motion. His primary clientele includes clients suffering from back pain, chronic spinal pain, failed back surgeries, and chronic pain disorders. He is passionate about ensuring that clients can and should expect better healthcare and the ability to have fitness and vitality throughout their life. Ariel Nathanson earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from South College. Prior to that, Ariel obtained her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University.
Ariel specializes in outpatient orthopedics and is most interested in helping patients achieve their fullest potential.
In her free time, Ariel enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and hiking.

Occupational Therapist, Certified Lymphedema TherapistMichelle earned her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2017. Since then she has practiced in a variety of settings including acute care, skilled nursing/LTC, and sub-acute rehab, but finally found her passion in outpatient hand therapy. She also received her certification as a Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) in 2020 from Klose Training.
Michelle now enjoys helping patients reach their maximum potential while specializing in hand / upper extremity rehab and Lymphedema treatments.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys living in beautiful Colorado and staying active with mountain biking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding!
