Neurological Rehabilitation TherapyIn Fort Collins, Windsor & surrounding cities
At Colorado in Motion, we have a neurological therapy team of occupational and physical therapists that are dedicated to helping you improve or maintain your quality of life while continuing to be able to participate in the activities that make you, uniquely you!
We specialize in helping patients and families overcome difficulties experienced from brain injury/concussions, stroke, balance disorders, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and many other neurological diagnoses.
How our Neurological Rehabilitation program works:
We provide one-on-one individualized therapy sessions to each patient with our Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists. We love to collaborate as a team, and you will be able to develop a relationship in keeping the consistency of your therapy team as we all work together to achieve your goals. We welcome your family members that may help you at home in our sessions as well to maximize your potential in both home and community with your loved ones.
Our therapists use a functional approach that is centered on achieving the goals that you create with your therapy team.
Areas of focus may include:
- Walking / Hiking / Running
- Balance Training
- Regaining Use of an Arm or Leg Impacted by Paralysis or Weakness
- Vision Training / Rehabilitation
- Coordination Training
- Self-Care Needs / Home Management / Grocery Shopping
- Dizziness/Vestibular Difficulties
- Returning to Work
- Continuing or Modifying Leisure Activities
- Wheelchair Fitting / Collaboration with Vendors
- Functional Cognition
- Pain and Orthopedic Condition
- Specialized Manual Therapy & Dry Needling
We have also partnered with the Aasha Brain Clinic and have therapists that focus specifically on concussion recovery with vision and vestibular emphasis. This model offers the potential for collaborative care with our doctor, psychologist, and speech therapy if desired.
