Chelsea Rose, OTR
Chelsea graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (OT) from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA in 2012. Highlights of this program included her clinical experiences with adult populations at the Mayo Clinic. She also reinforced her knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology by being a teacher’s assistant.
The pediatric population and upper extremity conditions are two of Chelsea’s passions. Prior to OT she worked with 0-3-year-olds in the early intervention program as a special educator. Chelsea began her OT career working in pediatrics where she focused her skills on neurorehabilitation and upper extremity interventions. She continues to expand these skills in the pediatric and adult populations.
World travel and being active are the dessert in Chelsea’s life. She has fallen in love with the culture and scenery in Europe, Africa, Central and South America. She also enjoys the outdoors by biking, hiking, camping, climbing, and skiing. When the outdoors and travel are not calling she enjoys sewing, reading, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
