Christina Vink, MS, ATC
Christina received her B.S. in Kinesiology and a B.A in Theater Arts – Dance from the University of Northern Colorado in 2005. Upon graduation, she spent the next 10 years working in the Washington DC area at a clinic which offered a unique approach to sustainable health and wellness. With a desire to grow her knowledge in this area, Christina also completed an M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion in 2011.
During her time in D.C., Christina had the opportunity to create and direct the training room at The Washington School of Ballet where she thrived working with adolescent dancers in injury prevention and treatment. In the clinic she directed FitTest Solutions fitness physical and exercise prescription program in addition to the development and oversight of a new program for the clinic – a supervised medical gym model used to help clients decrease health/disease risk factors through specific exercise.
With a hunger for continued learning and improvement of her skills, Christina is currently participating in the inaugural cohort of the Lifestyle Intervention Health Certificate through the University of Montana and will be joining as additional faculty for next year’s program. She also serves as technical director of FitTest Solutions and loves interacting with university and clinical users, guest teaching, and educating on the concepts of lifestyle intervention, exercise prescription, and treating holistically.
Christina is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) and still loves keeping a foot on the stage as a clinician and as a dancer herself! She is also a member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA).
Christina is a Fort Collins native who is thrilled to be back home after spending a decade in Washington DC and time spent traveling overseas. When she isn’t traveling she loves spending time with her friends and family, hiking, photography, mentoring youth and young adults, and cooking up a big meal and filling her table with people she loves.
