Susan Flynn, PT, DPT, MEd
Susan Flynn, PT, DPT, MEd has specialized in the field of pediatric physical therapy working in a variety of settings during her career. She has experience in working with children from birth to 21, with a variety of neurological, developmental, medically fragile and genetic disabilities in home, school and community settings. She has extensive continuing education training in neurodevelopmental, sensory integration and functional approaches to the treatment of children and has significant experience with managing equipment needs of children.
Susan is certified in the area of sensory integration and is a level 2 certified hippotherapist. She pursued a Master’s degree in the area of Early Childhood Special Education in order to enhance her understanding of all aspects of the child with disabilities focusing on the transdisciplinary approach and recently completed her doctorate in physical therapy. Susan believes that her role within the family is to guide and support families providing ideas and techniques which can be used to facilitate their child’s progress.
